In a major change to the ACT construction industry, Woden Contractors has been purchased from the Fryer family by existing directors Peter Middleton and Ben Helmers. The new ownership arrangement, which came into effect on the 1st of October 2019, allows the company to plot a path forward with confidence, continuing a long tradition of delivering quality infrastructure projects with an experienced team.

Ben, the managing director, with the support of Peter, plans to continue with the policies of quality construction, service to clients, fair treatment of all employees and the prompt payment of suppliers and subcontractors. They particularly wish to thank the previous owners for the opportunity to continue with the work that Ken and Hazel Fryer commenced in 1958.
